Since 2017 U.S. News and World Report has named Florida as #1 in the U.S. for higher education. The Florida ScoreBoard, released in September 2020 by Board of Governors Chair Syd Kitson, monitors the key metrics responsible for Florida’s #1 ranking, such as graduation rates and college affordability, and other areas of strategic emphasis.
