Full Board: The Board will consider the approval of the public notice of intent to amend Board Regulation 14.001. The regulation is amended to include State University System fixed capital outlay definitions. The Board will also consider approval of the public notice of intent to create Board Regulation 14.002. The regulation requires annual fixed capital outlay reserve funding of 2%, instead of 1%, for any new construction, remodeling, or renovation project of educational facilities, as well as clarifies the intent, use, and accountability for reserve funds and provides for board of trustees oversight. Additionally, the Board will consider confirming the appointment of Dr. Kenneth Jessell as interim president of the Florida International University.
