General Counsel

The General Counsel provides a broad range of legal services to the Board of Governors and the Chancellor, as well as BOG staff. These services include, but are not limited to, providing legal advice and counsel regarding policy matters, the issuance of written legal opinions, and the drafting and review of contracts, leases, administrative orders, rules, grant agreements, agency final orders, and proposed legislation affecting the Board of Governors and State University System. The office also provides advice and oversight with regard to litigation.
