Academic Excellence and Economic Prosperity

The activities of the Academic Excellence and Economic Prosperity Committee shall include, but not be limited to, developing System-level policies or initiatives to enhance the quality and national prominence of university research and innovation. The committee shall monitor and seek to enhance opportunities for university contributions to the economic health of Florida and shall seek to spearhead such efforts. In addition, the committee is responsible for spearheading the System’s efforts to translate research into economic development. The committee is also responsible for reviewing and approving the annual report on foreign influence.
