Established in 1956, the University of South Florida is a Preeminent State Research University located in the heart of the vibrant and diverse Tampa Bay region. From 2013 to 2019, USF rose faster in U.S. News and World Report’s annual rankings of best colleges than any other university in the country, public or private.
