University of North Florida

Situated in Jacksonville between downtown and the beaches, UNF was established in 1969. The 1,000-acre University of North Florida opened for classes in 1972 with 2,027 students and has grown to more than 18,900 students today. UNF offers colleges of distinction in Arts and Sciences, Business, Education and Human Services, Health, and Computing, Engineering and Construction, and a range of academic offerings, including 72 bachelor’s degrees with 83 areas of concentration, 48 master’s programs, a specialist degree and eight doctoral degree programs.
