The State University System of Florida is united to support Florida State University during the tragic events that took place on campus yesterday in Tallahassee. We are praying for those impacted – the parents, families, friends, and communities. The Board of Governors and SUS are prepared to provide assistance as needed to President McCullough and the Florida State University community. We are thankful for the quick and decisive response from university, local, state, and federal law enforcement, as well as the generosity and outpouring of support from our System, elected officials, and citizens. As the spring 2025 semester closes, our campuses continue to be safe learning environments. Students and employees, if you need support or are struggling to process yesterday’s tragedy, please seek assistance through your university’s student counseling and Employee Assistance Program. We continue to stand together with the FSU community as One SUS!
