CODING INSTRUCTIONS:                                                            
   For faculty who are granted tenure as a condition of employment,             
   the date shall be the date on which the faculty member was                   
   granted tenure by an authorized Board & may be retroactive to the            
   begining date of the academic year. For faculty granted tenure               
   status through the regular tenure status review process, the date            
   should be the date of the beginning of the next academic/fiscal              
   year, consistent with university guidelines.  For A&P and OTHR               
   employees with tenure this element shall be coded.                           
   When coded, this should be a complete date as responsive to              <
