DEFINITION:                                                                     
   An indicator used by the universities to uniquely identify                   
   a session of less than 10 weeks within a summer term or less                 
   than full term for fall and spring terms.

CODING INSTRUCTIONS:                                                            
   Each university should establish an identifier for each summer               
   session which is less than 10 weeks and for each fall and spring             
   session which is less than the entire term. For a summer session             
   of 10 or more weeks or a fall/spring sessions which lasts the                
   entire term this field should be coded zero.                                 
   ---for Summer Sessions                                                       
   If a university has two summer sessions of less than 10 weeks,               
   each session should have a unique indicator (e.g. The first 'A'              
   and the second 'B') while the sessions of 10 or more weeks should            
   all be coded zero.                                                           
   --for Fall and Spring Sessions                                               
   If a university has two sessions which are less than the entire              
   term, each session should have a unique indicator. Sessions which            
   last for the entire term should be coded zero.
