This element indicates whether or not a student has earned at
least five hours credit in supervised research as of the
beginning of the reporting term.

CODING INSTRUCTIONS:
A Graduate Research Assistant may, in some instances require
special training or faculty supervision to properly carry out his
or her research assignments. If the Graduate Research Assistant
registers for academic credit for this training and/or
supervision, the credit generated shall be reported by the
university as credit in 'Supervised Research.' This definition
does not include Dissertation Research or Directed Individual
Study (DIS) when the DIS is not a requirement of employement as a
Graduate Research Assistant.
