DEFINITION:                                                                     
   The classification of the course as it applies to the allocation             
   of resources within the State University System. These categories            
   are:                                                                         
   Remedial level - a student's course that has a Course Number                 
   (01196) less than 1000.                                                      
   Lower Level - a student's course that has a Course Number (01196)            
   between 1000 and 2999.                                                       
   Upper Level - a student's course that has a Course Number (01196)            
   between 3000 and 4999.                                                       
   Graduate I - a student's course that has a Course Number (01196)             
   between 5000 and 8999 and is not classified as a Graduate II.                
   Graduate II - a student's course that has a Course Number (01196)            
   between 5000 and 8999, and the student's Classification Level                
   (01060) equals 'A', and Degree Level Sought (01053) equals 'E',              
   'S', 'D', or 'R', and Student Program Category (01062) is an                 
   authorized Doctoral degree program at his/her institution.                   
   Graduate III - a Course Number (01196) between 5000 and 9999 with        <   
   a Primary Course Section Type (01289) of 'M - Medical'.                  <

       and Student's Classification Level (01060)  = 'A'                        
       and Degree Level Sought (01053) = E,S,D, or R,                           
       and Student Program Category (01062) is an                               
       authorized Doctoral degree program at this institution.                  
   3 = Graduate III                                                         <
