DEFINITION:
The high school grade point average upon which the student's
application for admission is evaluated, based on a 4.0 grading
system. A maximum of 5.0 will be allowed for this element since
it is possible to obtain this average with extra weights on a 4.0
scale. The GPA must be based upon the high school subject area
units required by the Admission Policy. The subject areas of
English, Math, Natural Science, Social Science, and Foreign
Language should be included.
