degree program.
This element excludes hours earned by students in course work
determined by the institution to be remedial for them.
Undergraduate students:
This element also includes all transfer hours accepted toward the
baccalaureate degree program.
Graduate students:
this element includes all credit hours (including transfer hours)
earned prior to the reported term which are applicable toward the
student's current graduate degree program. (elective hours earned
after student began current program are to be included.)
Unclassified students:
this element reflects only those hours (including non-
instructional credit) earned at this institution.
