DEFINITION:                                                                     
   Code to indicate proration of a room.  Proration records are                 
   used when a room has Multiple Room Uses (10002) or Room Programs             
   (10005) or to indicate other identifying characteristics                     
   necessary for internal analysis.

CODING INSTRUCTIONS:                                                            
   Proration is not allowed when Room Use (10002) equals 110 or                 
   210. The sum of square footage and capacity in records coded                 
   1-9 must equal the total square footage and capacity for the                 
   room. If the room is prorated, the record coded 1 should con-                
   tain the largest area of proration, and area should decrease                 
   on subsequent records. Proration should not be used to cover                 
   short term needs.
