USFSP entrepreneurship program wins national recognition

The entrepreneurship program at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg College of Business was named the Outstanding Emerging Entrepreneurship Program in the United States.
The U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, an independent organization focused on advancing entrepreneurship, honored the USFSP program as one that reflects innovation, quality, potential viability, depth of support and impact, according to a written statement.
The program was founded three years ago and includes curriculum crossing all disciplines and USFSP colleges. It has a small business development center and a business accelerator called Gazelle Lab.
Business leaders and entrepreneurs from around Tampa Bay interact with students and participate on an advisory panel.
