Nancy McKee, Associate Vice Chancellor, Academic and Student Affairs
Dr. Nancy McKee provides professional counsel and support regarding the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient outcomes supportive of the State University System Strategic Plan and related strategic action initiatives.
Dr. McKee has extensive experience in higher education administration and strategic planning issues. Before coming to the Chancellor's staff in 2003, Dr. McKee was Chief Policy Coordinator for the Council for Education Policy, Research and Improvement. Previously she worked for the Florida Legislature as Chief Legislative Analyst for the Senate Committee on Fiscal Policy and for the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations. She also served as head of the Governor's Education Policy Unit in the Office of Planning and Budgeting and as a budgeting coordinator with the former Board of Regents.
A native of Mississippi, Dr. McKee holds a bachelor's degree from Mississippi University for Women, a master's degree from the University of Mississippi and an advanced master's and a Ph.D. from Florida State University.
