Governmental Relations
Governmental Relations is central to successful efforts for obtaining funding and for the passage of substantive legislation in support of the teaching, research, and service missions of Florida's public universities.
The office coordinates development and implementation of strategies that foster mutually supportive, on-going relationships with elected officials, executive branch leaders, and other education entities.
Governmental Relations also advances the understanding of and support for the State University System by keeping key governmental officials and other stakeholders aware of the importance of the State University System to the well being of the citizens of Florida.
