External Relations
External Relations works to build relationships and motivate support and investment in the future of Florida's twelve public universities.
The external relations staff provide leadership for advancing the work and objectives of the Board of Governors and the State University System of Florida.
Florida's public institutions of higher education are responsible for fundamental contributions to the well being of communities locally, nationally and internationally, and our relationships become a catalyst for continuous improvement and excellence. Through partnerships, external relations staff seek to involve and educate diverse individuals and groups including: students; policy makers; government leaders; higher education organizations; as well as, corporations and businesses. We also have a role as liaison, serving both internal and external interests through a variety of responsibilities and activities. We strive to be responsive whether it is project management, strategic planning, researching issues, providing guidance and information, participating in an organization, or effectively communicating positions of the Board.
